Leverage client communications with an email auto responder

Often businesses fail through an inability to build meaningful relationships with their cleints. This is easy to understand when you consider the kind of customer service you expect when dealing with any retailer or organization.
If you are left in a store unattended, or on hold on the phone, it is only natural to think that you will never return to them. After all it is you who is buying their product or service - they should value your time more highly.
Customers need to feel important and the best way of achieving this with your customers is to communicate with them on a regular basis. Only you will know what that frequency will be, but too often could result in them unsubscribing unless there is real value in the message.
These days people are often heard bemoaning the fact that there is little personal attention give to them as customers. And those companies that do provide excellent customer service are benefiting from their efforts.
With internet marketing, because you are targeting such a huge market, it has been difficult to personalize your messages and build a perceived close relationship with clients. May e-marketers have enlisted the support of autoresponders to help them communicate with those on their lists, but this has resulted in mass, generic emails bombarding in-boxes around the world.
Thanks to companies like the market leading Aweber however, all of this has changed. Aweber have designed their autoresponder to be not only user-friendly, but also with the ability to personalize messages. So now if you are unable to provide the personal service, the next best thing you can do is give the impression that you are.
Autoresponders enable you to communicate with people and let them know that you thinking about them, even if they are merely on your mailing list. Aweber allows the internet marketer to add the client’s name to the messages it sends - this is automatically extracted from the information the client entered on sign-up. How nice is it to receive an email ‘personally’ addressed to you! This feature should not be abused however, repeating the name throughout the message does create an air of desperation!
Being able to do this automatically for one or 100 people is a truly valuable tool.
The Aweber Autoresponder also allows you to prepare emails and newsletters in advance that can be automatically sent out at intervals of your choosing. There is nothing to stop you preparing 12 months worth of newsletters at one time, and scheduling them for the first of each month! It will seem as though you have been hard at work all that time.
These are only a few of the features the Aweber offers its customers, and taking advantage of their 30 day trial offer is sure to convince even the sceptics of its value for money.

Double Opt-in or Single Opt-in?
Dec 29, 2008 Autoresponder, Aweber, Email Marketing, affiliate marketing
There is much debate of the benefits or otherwise of a double opt-in process for internet subscriptions. Most ethical marketers believe that it is the key to building lists with qualified entries, others fear they lose too many subscribers in the confirmation process.
Tom Kulzer, the founder of Aweber Communications, believes it is best to ensure that email messages and newsletters are only sent to people who have confirmed that they have asked for them. Ethical double opt-in marketing is the best way to do this. He has put in place very specific procedures and policies to ensure that his autoresponder product prevents abuse of the system. He has absolutely no tolerance for spamming and often speaks on this topic at industry conferences.
Double opt-in with Aweber works this way: the marketer designs a form or link in Aweber, which is then placed on his webpage or in an email. This form seeks information from readers (usually with some sort of reward or bonus for entering the data), which will become date on his list held at Aweber.
Aweber autoresponder immediately sends the subscriber an email to the address they provided asking for confirmation of their intention to subscribe/receive the offer. The subscriber’s details do not appear on the marketer’s list until this confirmation is received.
So, the subscriber fills in the form (first opt-in), and then confirms they did in fact fill in the form (second opt-in). This is necessary to prevent them entering in bogus email addresses - very important to ensuring the marketer’s list is accurate.
Every communication sent to the subscriber through Aweber will also carry an “Unsubscribe” option - not only a good ethical decision by Aweber, but also a requirement in many countries as well, in the fight against SPAM.
If you have any questions about double opt-in, the very professional team at Aweber Customer Support are on hand 24/7 to answer your questions and provide any technical assistance you may have regarding your use of their system.
